The Ballincurrig Care Centre BBQ Summer Party was an absolute blast, and we embarked on a tropical journey to Hawaii.

With the theme set to Hawaii, we immersed ourselves in the spirit of aloha and embarked on a day filled with laughter, music, and shared memories. Our special guest, Brian, the Advocacy Services Manager, added an extra touch of warmth to the day, embodying the heart of our Silver Stream family.

Entertainment was at an all-time high with Pat Daly taking the stage and filling the air with melodies. But the surprises didn’t end there—our very own kitchen assistant, Jennifer, enchanted us with her beautiful singing, truly warming our hearts. ?

Our Director of Nursing, Martina, joined in on the festivities and played a huge role in making the day such a success.

Thanks to our chefs who made sure the food on display was simply irresistible.

Fintan, one of our cherished residents, put it best when he said, “The proof of a great party is in the eating.”

Fellow residents Maureen and Helena joined him, delving into the delicious baked treats.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who made this day unforgettable—from the performers who filled the air with music to the staff who put their hearts into creating this tropical paradise.
